MINNESOTA!!!!!

So my sisters and mom thought it would be fun to take a girls trip for my mom's 60th birthday!!! We went back and forth on where to go and my mom decided on NYC!! We booked our tickets and found a hotel and were getting super excited!! THEN...the big storm (I think it was Sandy) that hit NY and the East coast and did so much damage hit and it there was so much damage to the area that we decided to postpone the NYC trip and book something else. Since we still wanted to go to NYC next year (since we already booked our tickets and we could just rebook within a year) we decided we would pick somewhere that wasn't going to be too expensive and we decided why not the mall of America!!! WOOP WOOP!!! A few days of shopping in on place with my favorite ladies sounded delightful to all!!!

A day or two before we left for SLC to catch our flight, Kate, got sick with some sort of flu. :( We couldn't not go!!! Luckily she started feeling a little better, better enough to go.:) YAY!!!!! So, to be funny we all showed up with masks on so we wouldn't get sick!! HAHAHAHA we are so funny!!

We got to SLC and we were flying first to Denver and then to Minniapolis on Frontier air. Well we sat on the airplane for like 7 hours. Lame. They said we could get off the plane but it seemed like we would be leaving soon so I just stayed put and made friends with our neighbors. My wonderful sister Heather went out so Hansen wouldn't get bored and bought me the best breakfast burrito I have ever eaten in my life. I was so starving it was rediculous. Needless to say we missed our connecting flight from Denver to Minniapolis and spent the in Denver, without our luggage. boo. BUT since we weren't in a big hurry we made the most of the situation and had a really fun time sitting in the airport and then going to the hotel and chillin' out and having giggling fits.

We are sitting down eating some food right after we found out our luggage went on with out us. These gals are not letting it get them down!

 Our airport picnic!!
Aunt Erin and Hansen

yikes! Someone should tell Aunt Erin to take a shower!!! To make matters worse, we ordered chineese food into the hotel and I was pulling the food out of the bag, I didn't know Kate's had a bunch of liquid terryaki sauce in the container and spilled it all down the front of me. Yes, down the front of the same clothes I had been wearing for over 12 hours and would continue to wear them the very next day after I slept in them. It was a very smart move!!! We laughed VERY hard at that one!!!! I also smelled great the next day!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH oh man! just one of the many great memories/things that went wrong on this trip!!!!

So Indi was a little stinker for her mother everytime it was time for bed. This is a picture I took when I was told I needed to act like I was asleep, she was wide awake playing all by herself over there!!! We were laughing so hard!!!

Awe!!! aren't they cute!

Indi, being a little stinker again!

Kate tried this little unit for the first time ever!! It lasted about 10 minutes. hahahaha!!!!

This mall was awesome!!!! So enormous!!!

Hansen was an angel baby the whole time!!

AAAAAHHHHHHH BIg goot was at the mall!
This is what Hansen would look like as a girl. :) pretty cute!

HAHAHHA Indi had been a little shit for her mom most of the time so Kate thought she would be better in the back seat of the pick up with Joey and I so she would forget Kate was in the car and want out. Well at the gas station I wanted to get her a treat to keep her quiet and I found a sucker!!!! Well it was the messiest thing ever and I was warned that it was my responsibility to clean her up because I wanted to give it to her. Well, I have learned my lesson!!!

But it did keep her quiet and happy for a long time!!!!

Thanks ladies for the fun and unforgettable trip!!! Can't wait for NYC 2013!!!!! Hopefully we won't have as many problems in our travels! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!!!!!

Ashton to Jackson Relay!!!

This happened back in August of 2012 but I have some pictures I want to record so I thought I would blog about it. Joey did the the race in 2011 and I was signed up for it but I sprained my ankle (which is a totally different story!!) so I wasn't able to participate. :( I wasn't ready to run it last year so it was pretty difficult but it was super fun!!!! Our van of ladies was so much fun and made the experience so much fun and totally worth it!!! Thanks ladies for putting up with my REALLY SLOW times. The race started at the Ashton high school  where my mom met us to cheer us on and I was runner #1.... I was super slow. I also got a really bad side ache by the end of the first mile. My sweetie pie was there every step of the way!!! He rode his bike next to me where he was there to get me a drink, chapstick, and to get the peppermint oil Joey gave me for my side ache (thanks Jo Dawn, you saved my bacon),  I am one lucky girl!! The girls were so sweet to cheer me on everytime they would pass me in the suburban, it is crazy what a little bit of cheering will do for you when you are struggling.
This is before we started the race. What pretty ladies I got to spend the next 18 hours with!!
This is my very own cheerleader at the end of my first leg. I thought I was going to die before I got to the end!! Isn't he so hot?!?! Such a babe :)

Go Jo!!!!! Running into the finish line!

We finished!!! Thanks baby, for supporting me all the way!!!

This is our whole team!!! Go US!!! There are 2 vans of 6 people.

Our van! We are all a little tired, dirty, and sweaty but I was so proud  of us!!

We giggled A LOT on our little journey!!

Thanks Jo for all your help!!! I really had a blast with you and I loved that we had our little giggle fits when we should have been sleeping!!
Our second leg was in the middle of the night and Chad met us in the middle of no where and rode his bike with Joey and I. We were so thankful because we were in an area where there could have been wolves. :/
The second leg was SO MUCH EASIER!!!! It wasn't hot and I was able to get more in my groove and just run, it was great!
My parents were so great to come over for the finish line!!! It was so wonderful to see them, it just made it so much fun! Afterwards we went to Jackson and had dinner at the Snake River brewery. It was the perfect way to end the night!

I look and felt like I needed a bath but my babe looks like my arm candy. HAHAHA!
This is Jo and I after my 3rd and final leg!!! AWE!!! It was a great feeling!! See how sweaty and gross I was?!?! In total I think I ran a little over 14 miles and my last leg was running down the Targhee hill, it was my favorite.

Chad and his ladies!!

I think Joey took this picture of me running down the Tarhee hill. It was so beautiful!!! I started just as the sun had come up and it was the perfect setting for me to enjoy this leg. So peaceful and inspiring, you forget how pretty your surroundings are sometimes. Thanks Jo Dawn for inviting me to run and thanks Kathy, Jeannie, Leslie, and Heather for lettinig me join your team, you are all so awesome!!!

My little kids!!! :)

I just wanted to document some pictures of my little boys!!! I have so many pictures so I will have to do another post another night but here are some cute randoms. My brother breeds wiemeraners and his dog, Sunny had puppies a few months before my Pheobes died. Well, I was totally hearbroken when Phoebe died and Chad had one puppy left out of the group of puppies who were born in June. I didn't know if I was ready for another dog yet but Chad was so sweet and gave Gus to me. He could have made a lot of money from another kid who wanted him but he let me have first choice. I am so very thankful he did. I am thankful everyday that I get to take my Gus-yay to work with me. :) Bubba and Skeeter belonged to Chad before I was around and I love them so much!!! We are just a happy little family, just my boys and I!!!!

I let Gus ride in the car with out being in his kennel and he wasn't quite sure what to do...
HAHAHAHAHH!!!!!!! Kate came to help me organize  and declutter one night and  Skeeter just LOVES her!! He wouldn't leave her alone and for some reason won't give my mom the time of day (although he is getting better) but Kate wanted me to send this picture to my mom. HAHAHAHA it was  pretty hilarious!!!!

This was the same night. This is how Gus is to Bubba all the time! He is like the annoying little brother that won't leave his bit brother alone, even for a minute. He always has to be laying by him. cutie pies.
HAHHA!! Gus LOVES grandma!!! He always loves to snuggle with her and everynight before we go home we go in the house to say goodnight to granny!!!!

He likes to give hugs. :)

 My handsome Bubba!!

I love this boy!! He is totally smiling!!
 Lil' Skeeter!!! Such a cutie!!
 Awe!!!
So I am pathetic...I surprised Chad on Halloween and put all the dogs in costumes for when he got home!! HAHAHAHAHA I thought I was so funny!!!! and I was!!!! The best surprise was that I got a knock at the door and I thought it was a group of trick or treaters so I answered the door and there was a hot construction worker!!! HAHAHAHAh he had taken his tshirt off and had his overalls/coveralls on and safety vest and I'm pretty sure he had his hard hat on too!! HAHAHAHA we had a great laugh!! This is our Zumba dancer Bubbarina.
Our Boise State University football fan sporting his jersey!!
And our beach babe who appears to be scared but he is just modeling.

Gus playing heads up seven up at the office. I don't have time for games Gussy!!!

 My trick or treaters!!!!
Gus is so quirky!!! He always falls alseep in the funniest positions!!!!
 Under my desk...

So Chad got this picture as a text one night and Chad took it as a challenge. Please see below.
He is such a good dog!!!!
 Snuggles with Granny!

We got to go camping with Shayne, Ashlee, and Mason last year and Mason wanted to sleep in our camper with Chad and I and of course the dogs! They snuggled all night long and I am pretty sure Mason was the happiest little guy on the planet that night. He is so cute!!!!

All my babies!!!! I am so thankful for them. :)
